This heavily modified ship acts as the personal transport of the Commanding Officer of New Republic Intelligence. Whereas other members of High Command command large warships, a smaller more maneveurable vessel is needed for NRI. The Shining heart is fast, well armed and well equipped for most eventualities. The modifications were performed by some of the best engineering teams in the New Republic, so the reliabilty is good, although the ships has started to develop a personality of its own. In particular the upgraded engines tend to draw power away from the weapons at high speeds.
